Who Am I?

Hi there — My name’s Victoria , but I usually go by Vic and I'm a Games Designer, Marketing Coordinator & UI/UX/Web Designer located in Melbourne, Australia.

Design is been something I have always been interested in, but I never thought it was something that people could do for a living. Once I started to learn more about the creative industries and what it means to actually work in digital design, I completely fell in love with it.

Over the years I’ve found there’s a lot of overlap between my game design skills, marketing skills & UI/UX/web design. From the necessity of understanding what will capture the interest of specific target markets to knowing what is appealing to watch and use, my broad knowledge has been extremely useful in a variety of situations.

When it comes to game design, I want to make games that evoke emotions and pushes the players to rethink what games can be by having them think outside the box. I also really enjoy making quirky and funny games as I enjoy making people smile and laugh.

With marketing and UI/UX/web design I love to be able to bring clients ideas to life and I find a lot of satisfaction in my work when I see the engagement from their target market.

Level Design

This is my most prominent skill. I enjoy designing and creating unique levels that engage players and push them to really explore the area they are in.

Puzzle Design

I find designing puzzles really interesting as it allows me to push my skills and creativity. To me, it's really intriguing to be creative while using a specific set of rules.

Narrative Design

I really like creating a narrative for a game. I'm best at creating the overall plot of the game and designing the different branches and directions it can go in.
